Sony HX-900 w/160gb hard drive

I have the Sony DVD recorder,with the 160gb hard drive. So far i love it, But i've been very limited to time with it. I was having problems getting dirty disc errors and thought it was a certain media(memorex) but i came right behind and burned on Maxels with no problem. Now the problem is with any media. BUT HERE'S the Catch ,It ONLY GIVES THESE dirty disc errors when going from the hard drive to disc ON FAST BURN. Thats right, i can take the same disc and burn it in any other speed & it will burn. So i know its not the burner. Only fast burn is causing the c-13,dirty disc error, which i said i can burn on any other speed. Does this sound like a software problem to send it back to Sony??? I'm just confused on it acting up like this..I've only burned, less then 50 DVD'S thus far.. Thanks for any insight.

I have no problem with fast dub using TDK +R/RW media. Try to test with different media first.

Thanks, But the machine is SUPPOSE to record on all 4 formats,& i have ALL my DVD movies on -R. Like i said , it comes right behind & burns on the very same (dirty disc,C-13 error,Fast Burn) Dvd on any of the other speeds. I guess i'll send it back to Sony before it goes out of warranty(Oct). The Fast burn is such a nice feature,If i made a movie, put it on the hard drive, & then i can fast burn several DVDs in a small amount of time. I do appreciate your help, and anymore you have. I couldn't find anyone whom had the HX-900..
