    What the HELL is this drwtsn32.exe proecess that is now running on my computer? Can it be removed from my system?

    no need to remove it -- but if its running , shut it down in task manager ...

    Dr Watson is a debugger built into windows. It's been around since the old Windows 3.1 days. If it is firing by itself, you probably have something serious going on. Last time I saw Dr. W going off regularly (and using 100% CPU when it did), the box required a rebuild.

    A lot of times I notice it pop up when a program crashes. But it closes after the report dialog comes up.

    Yea I was having some weird shit happening on my computer yesterday. icons disappeared, task bar icons deleted? I havd an HP WinXP, so I just used the built in system restore everythings great again. No more DR watson in the task manager.....thanx for all the replies
