Hi Jim,
I've just found out to my cost that the SW-9573 will NOT write to 2.6Gb media. It will read the 2.6Gb disks, but according to my supplier this feature will be discontinued in the next model.
My old drive was a SW-9571, this would both read and write 2.6Gb disks.
I find this trend disappointing, we bought into DVD-RAM for its extreme data longevity, but what use is a 50 year guaranteed disk life if you will be able to buy a drive to read those disks in a year's time?
