My computer used to sleep and recover from power saving perfectly. It would shut all the way down and show the blinking sleep light. I click the mouse and it powers up and right to the desktop.

I had to clear the cmos due to overclocking tests. now it goes to sleep, turns on when I hit the mouse button, but I have no video and the power light is still blinking. A reset is the only option. The PC appears to wake up, power on, but no video.

what setting am I missing here?

  2. check to make sure the APM setting in the "Power Management" settings under the screen saver tab is "Checked"
