Ave,

I recently purchased the Panasonic SC-HT670 Home Theater System and am very pleased with it. It's giving me excellent performance.. sound is awesome.. everything is great.

But yesterday i ran into my first problem.

I made a backup of a Dual Layer DVD. I'm using Memorex Dual Layer media DVD+R (8.5 GB), Pioneer A08 burner, and Nero 6.6 to burn. The DVD burned absolutely fine. The problem is, on my home theater system, when i play it, it begins perfect and reaches the main menu. But it doesn't play the movie. When i choose "Play" from the main menu.. the menu fades out, the DVD player makes some noise, and then the Main Menu loads again. I am able to go into scene selections, audio menus... any kind of menus basically.. but it just wont' play the movie. No matter what chapter or scene you choose, it reloads the Main Menu.

The bigger problem is, this same DVD is working absolutely fine on 3 other DVD players i have... a cheap old KOSS DVD player, a Magnavox DVD Player & my XBOX !!! It's ONLY the Panasonic SC-HT670 Home Theater System where it's NOT playing the movie. I don't get it! Out of all the players i have, this Panasonic is the most expensive and advanced. Why won't it play there!!! It's playing absolutely fine like a normal DVD movie on all other players.

In fact this Panasonic SC-HT670 is supposed to support more formats then any other players i have. It supports DVD-RAM and what not that my other players do not.

Anyone got any advice?

Thanks,
Mickey
