Ok, I guess my prevous post wasn't clear, so I'll try again. I copied a movie using 5 minute chapters, and I am able to delete or add marks to create new chapters (placed immediately AFTER commercials).
With this in mind, I thought that when I play this movie on any other DVD player (not recorder), I could press "NEXT" on the remote control, so that when a commercial starts, I could just skip the commercials and continue my movie from the newly created chapter. This doesn't seem to be the purpose of the "create mark" feature on this lite-on recorder.
Does anyone know how to do this? OR... Am I not clear in my explanation?

Why are you doing seems a lot of effort just to knock out commercials this way. You could use the Liteon 5101 to edit out the commercials and then save it to the same disc after you record the movie. I've tried it on the Liteon 5101 and it works. Btw there is a 1hr, 2hr, 3hr, 4hr and 6hr mode.
