    Thinking of getting a plextor to replace my pioneer 109/8, are they better or worse than pioneer,
    pioneer 109/8(yes got both) seems worse than my pioneer 106 which is flawless
    people say they are better put what do i now
    not like nec or sony but that's me

    The PLEXTOR 716A drive is better now because of the firmware upgrades. I'm waiting for the 716AL which is a slot drive instead of a tray drive. It's being released next month sometime. Check out the PLEXTOR FORUM at CDFREAKS.COM.
