DVDDecrypter Main Movie mode & Shrink?

Hi. Whenever I rip a DVD with DVDDecrypter in File Mode - Main Movie or Main Move+IFOs modes and then try bring it into Shrink I get an error saying that the VIDEO_TS.VOB cannot be open. But when I use DVDFab Express I have no problems.

If there is anyone who can give me some advice Iwo would appreciate it. Thanks

DVDDecryter doesn't correct the IFO's so maybe this is why DVDShrink is not accepting them

is it a DVD you can't just use DVDShrink directly with to grab the movie only?

I always just rip the entire disc to hard drive, then use DVDShrink to get selective.

I'm gonna ditto the last two posts.

When you rip in "main movie only", Decrypter makes no attempt to make sure that you're left with a valid disc structure.

The amount of time and hard drive space it saves to rip this way... is usually inconsequential. Just rip the whole disc.

Of course, there was a guy a couple months back who started a big argument with me about how DAMMIT, he SHOULD be able to rip in main-movie-only and WHY couldn't he and DAMMIT we should have the answers for him...
