I have an older Dazzle video capture device and I can't get it to work in any capture software, including Dazzle. The software that it comes with is DVC Internet edition 3.62. It won't install to Windows xp. So I installed it on a Win98 computer. The software runs, but when I try to capture, it says that it cannot connect to device. When I checked Device Manager, it shows that the Dazzle is installed and driver is working properly. It is listed under sound, video and game controllers. Dazzle support is non-exsistant since Pinnacle bought them. So, can anyone help?

You need to upgrade to MovieStar 4.23 or higher for WinXP support. Unfortunately Dazzle charges for the upgrade CD, which comes with MyDVD, but I can put the MovieStar 4 / Dazzle USB driver on my server for download if you prefer.

I use my older Dazzle for a door stop after being frustrated with the non-standard output and the crappy software. Maybe there is some other software that will work with it, but I gave up trying to find any. Good luck.
EDIT: There used to be a Dazzle forum out there. You might do a Google search. They helped me a lot when I was trying to get it to work properly. -
