I'm trying to see if there is a way to make my Sony 530A DVD drive region free. Unfortunately, the 530A isn't listed in the "Hacks" section and I've checked "The Firmware Page" (http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1719) and they have a link to "The Dangerous Brothers" flashers, but they only have flashers for firmware 2.0a and 2.0c. I have 2.1g. Does anyone know a place where I can find a flasher for Sony 530A 2.1g?
Also, I've seen that "DVD-Region Free" program advertised a lot here and other places. Does anyone use that? Is it any good?
