    anyone use a download manager that allows you to set the download speed limit? I just use freshdownload but it doesn't allow you to slow down downloads . I wouldn't mind all the other usual crap that goes with them of course. The more buttons there are the happy I am

    any suggestions?

    There is one that I ran across called Go!Zilla.

    It has what you are looking for, but you have to pay for it.

    Prozilla will also do what you want, but it is command line driven. If you are secure with command lines, then you may want to give it a shot.

    I use GetRight. It lets you throttle and it supports segmented downloaded and a bunch of other features.

    well DAP and mass downloader both have features of various speeds like extremely accelerated speed etc....
