Hi,

New guy here .. and have the following problem .. captured an AVI, converted to MPEG just fine. Plays great on media player. Burned to VCD with NTI CD Maker 2000, which seemed to go okay.

Plays on the DVD player. PROBLEM : The picture, although it does go from the top of the screen to the bottom, is squeezed into the leftmost 2/5ths or so, with the rest (to the right) all black. It looks pretty .. uhm .. weird.

This is my first crack at this. I'm familiar with 'puters, just not video.

If you have any idea where I may have dropped the ball on this one, please let me know .. I'd appreciate it a lot.

I'm sure this will be a lot of fun once I get this all figured out. I've read some of the other posts/forums, and it's good to see you guys pretty much stick together, and there's a lot of assistance out there. Thanks.
