    I have downloaded some music videos (mpg-vcd) that are in NTSC format.
    In order to burn them on a video cd that can be playedon a eEuropean tv (DVD standalone) I need to convert these files to PAL format. How can I manage this???

    Actually most European equipment will quite happily play NTSC, NTSC>PAL is a very messy process and there's no sure fire way to do it. I'd really suggest you try to burn as NTSC and see if it works b4 attempting the conversion.
