Slide Conversion

Hi

A fiend is having problems viewing slides on his dvd player and has asked me to help him try to find an answer. His problem is shown below:

"I have had several slides professionally scanned and burnt on to a CD, this was successful and played on my computer and DVD. I later had some older slides that were 2¼ inch square scanned and burnt on to the same CD in a separate folder, these played on the computer but not the DVD. It came up as Jpeg decoding error.

They then put the 2 ¼ slides into the original folder, again these played on the computer not the DVD, still came up as Jpeg decoding error.

They then re-sized these slides to the normal slide size and burnt one on a separate CD but with out success. On my DVD they will show as thumbnail pictures but not full size.

I have tried another DVD, but no joy. Can anyone help with this, the shop has given up!!"

If anybody has any suggestions we would be very grateful.
