  1. Until one year before I used a DVB-C-card and I had no problems with
encodeing mpeg-clips with Tmpgenc. Now I use DVB-S-card TT-PCline premium5 and I get after demux with pvstrumento (21013) or ProjektX and encodieren with Tmpgenc (2.524.63.181) after about the half clip a still picture and Tmppenc is finishing without error. I 'm working with DVD-template. Pinnacle studio9 works well but I thing with const. bitrate. Could anybody help me? If I use Tmpgenc I get more clips on DVD because of higher compression.

Working with DVB is very easy, I do it 6 years now!

Forget whetever you use. Load your mpeg2 DVB file to Dvd2avi, save project and frameserve to TMPGenc.
Another alternative is to load your mpeg 2 DVB file to virtualdub mpeg2 and frameserve from there. Slower, but you can add filters that way.

  4. I know this way. Working with DVD2AVI and konv. with vfapiconv into a virt. avi-clip and I try to load the clip into Virtualdub I get the error message:
Couldn't locate decompressorfor format vifp, Vdub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatiblecodec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player are not sutible.
I need a codec or do you have a solution?

No, if you use virtualdub mpeg2 (a variation of virtualdub) you can load direct DVB mpeg 2 files

  7. Sollution: demux with pvastrumento-->cut with cuttermaran-->save projekt with dvd2avi-->make with vfapiconverter virtual avi-file (at the first time start vifpset.bat)-->encode with tmpenc-->mux with tmpenc. The clip become 1/3 smaller.
