  3. Ulead DVD Movie Factory. Cheap, easy to use and support A03 burner.

    Roxio VideoPack 5 - doesn't support A03 as a DVD-burner, only as a CD-R or CD-RW.

  4. Firstly I do not have any idea about the authoring in the three mentioned by you.I am using SpruceUp DVD Authoring and its really good.
    Nero's MPEG2-SVCD Plugin is good.Similarly Sonic Foundry's
    MPEG1-MPEG2 Plugins are really good.

  5. I prefer videopack5 over dvd factory. Only v5 allows you to make menus and submenus from both stills and video. Mpg2 compression is good also.

  6. PE officially will not support miniDVD. I've had it with there tech support lowsy answers even though their own press release last March said PE would allow users to make DVD quality movies on CDR/W. That was a lie. SVCD is best it gets and that is "near" DVD quality (Pinnacle's own words in tech replies). I understand that Pinnacle's Studio DV 7 is awesome for capturing and editing (no authoring). I am also now researching a great authoring program to go with Studio DV7. any of these authoring programs freeware?

  7. Hi all !

Thanks for your replys, I very much appreciate it!
But if someone still has something to add, you're
welcome - I just wanted to say a "Thank you" so far.

    @ jarry:
Ulead has a 30 day trial, none of the programs are
    freeware.

  9. @ jarry:

Yes, I am referring to Ulead DVD Movie Factory!
Ulead has a 30 day Trial to download at:
    http://www.ulead.com
Unfortunatly I have no idea about Ulead's Video Studio
so you will have to check it out yourself. But I
assume that Ulead also has a trial-version of it's
Video Studio to download - give it a try if you want!

    Greetings
    Med.
