Hi ,
This is my first post and I want to thank everyone on this forum because I've learned so much and would be totally lost without this site. My goal is to convert home movies and commercial vhs tapes with MV to dvd.
My current setup is:
Capture: Canopus MpegPro Emr and the ATI AWI 9600
VCR: JVC S-VHS S3912U
Video Stabilizer: Facetvideo Clarifier
The image quality I get with the Clarifier does just that, clarifies the video and does bypass MV, but the resulting image is noticeably jittery. Here is my problem, the commercial tapes with the clarifier does have a good image, but the jitter is unacceptable, so from my research here, I figure a TBC will solve that. Things recorded from tv are fine, but home movies are another issue. I notice a loss of detail and the colors I wouldn't mind adjusting. I figured that maybe the Datavideo TBC 3000 would help because it's a TBC with a proc amp. I haven't seen any reviews on it, so I'm not sure how the quality of the proc amp is. Would I be better off getting the Vidicraft Detailer III with the Datavideo TBC 1000 (also using my Clarifier)? HELP!!!!![]()
