(I'd post this on the sound forum, but apparantly if you're looking for a Mac application, you get booted over here. Kinda like being sent to your room.)
Is there any Mac application that could manufacture a single "center" channel aiff file from a stereo pair of aiffs? Specifically, something that would compare two aiff files and create a single aiff with only the common elements from the pair.
I'm re-editing a pre-made 5.1 mix, and occasionally I'm dropping out the center channel completely (to remove dialog). But I'd rather have something there to take it's place, preferably just something to reinforce the L and R channels, witout having to boost the L and R channels themselves.
