    I had a 250G Maxtor 'go bad' - I was able to use a data recovery tool to get most of the files but most of the 'structure' files are bad (shrink and
    DVD2ONE throw up when they try to read it). I am hoping that someone can point me to an application that will let me reconstruct the structure files by using the video VOBS. Ideally this app could reconstruct a move-only DVD structure that I could then use one of the above files to shrink.

    As I had about 30 backup on the disk, it
    is of keen interest!!!

    You could use Vobedit to demux the audio and video, then Rejig to recreate the IFO, VOBs, BUPs, etc.
