    Hi
How about some info ?? any info ?
That screen you are getting sounds like when you try to play the wrong region or wrong format, ie: pal video on a dvd player that only plays ntsc ?
Did you mistakenly re-encode them in a diff. format the second time ?
Becaise i know when i try to play pal dvd's that are even region free my sony says the same thing.

  4. Exactly what Noahtuck says, My Sonys (2) both display that message if I try to play a PAL disk, They're Only NTSC Players.

Recode back to NTSC or if NTSC check to see if you somehow set a region wrong. But I'd bet you did them as PAL. If they're PAL then either get a Player that plays PAL but outputs NTSC or re-encode to NTSC.

    Good Luck

You say you 're-converted' them, that would be when you changed them to PAL if that is what you have done, not when they were burned.
