I have several avi files that I would like to burn to disc. I have Nero, as well as DVD shrink and DVD Decrypter. What I want to do is burn them without having to make a menu. What program would I need to do this with?

You need to convert them to dvd mpeg2 through Tmpgenc and then use Tmpgenc dvd author to author it then burn with your burning program.

If you're not interested in menus then you could use Ifoedit, which is free, to author the DVD from the MPEG2 files.
Now, to create the MPEG2 files you would need to encode them from the AVI files. TMPGEnc Plus comes with a free 30-day trial, but after that it would cost you around $50.
If you want to use and learn a free MPEG2 encoder, then you could use QuEnc. I've tried this encoder ... it's slow but the output seems good.
