    I been trying to convert pal to ntsc ...i been useing ifoedit ..and no matter what try with this i can not get it right..please help

    IFOEdit can't convert PAL to NTSC. It can convert the headers, which may or may not work on your DVD player (it doesn't on mine).

    check out the convertfps command in avisynth. In the documentation, there is a sample script.

    this might seem a bit odd, but I've been having luck using Ulead DVD Movefactory 3. After certain other methods failed, I started up a new NTSC project in MF3. I added the PAL clips. MV3 authored the dvd, and put the converted MPG files in it's temp folder. I used those to author with TMPGEnc DVD Author like normal, and they were fine. Kinda convoluted, but it worked, with no sync issues!
