What would it mean if volume kept goinmg up n down on an episode i downloaded some quiet bits some loud, would it juss be a bad rip??
wldnt be an issue with the audio codecs or a messed up hard drive wld it??

Assuming this "episode" is public domain and legal to download.... I would say it sounds like a bad rip. Do any other video files you have exhibit the same behavior? What format is it? Are you sure the volume control is steady while you are watching and not affected by you using your mouse wheel to scroll up and down. I personally have never encountered such a phenomenon in any videos I have or have made or captured.
