Cannot create DVD

Hi All,

I have a sony viao PCG - GRT915M with a i link and so does my dv camcorder Sony HC30E, I connected the Camera to the laptop using a i-link cable, while creating the DVD, my camera ran out of battery and the system hung. Now my problem is that the laptop just doesnt respond to the camera being connected via I-link (keeps giving the message kindly switch on the device).

uninstalled the 1394 drivers and reloaded them, but no effect..

Does any one have a solution? how can i make out if one of the two devices (laptop/camera) has gone bad?

While I sympathise with your plight, and cannot offer a solution, a better title for the topic might have got you an answer by now.
