I bought DVDxCopy Xpress and it has done wonders with my movies, however, because of ongoing computer problems, I had to reformat my HD several times, now DVDxCopy will not register for me. Says something to the effect that it was registered 7 times. Does anyone know how to get the program to register since 321 Studios is now out of buisness? Also, I have bought ICopyDVD's 2, but it won't allow me to burn anything or even read any dvd that i put in it. I have tried ANYDVD and DVD43, niether seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas?![]()

Use DVD Shrink instead - it produces better quality output than DVDxCopy, costs a lot loess, and has ongoing support and maintenance. Through in DVD Decrypter, and you wont need AnyDVD, DVD43, or a burning program.
Read my blog here.

I have tried useing the DVDShrink, but I really don't like it, I am looking for a program that is alot like DVDxCopy, you know, a all in one rip and burn tool. I like the idea that I can copy a DVD straight to a DVD+R without haveing to follow a bunch of steps. But I will try to use the Shrink again. To bad I can't get my ICOPYDVD's2 to work with copy protected dvd's.

Dvd shrink is free and will do fine.
Dvd X copy is garbage and 321 studios got a lot of flak for selling software that is free.

come on guys at least try to answer if your going to give advice too. Unfortunatley 321 is gone so you cant call them to get a new phone serial #. The same thing happened to me with windows. I had a virus and I had to reformat a few times in the same day cause I was have problems, so I called MS and got a new#.
And for the record dvd shrink is the same as dvdxcopy from a legal stand point, theres no diff. copying is copying.

How could you possibly take yourself so seriously, maybe its because all you have is a fake mod. job at a video forum. Try getting a real job, with a paycheck, not one at blockbuster where you watch kids from behind the ailse in case they steal a movie. My god! I havent talked to such a loser in some time. Im guilty? Are you insane? Really ,are you crazy.
Ill bet you are VERY respected, is that ALF on your avatar? Are those your 6 years computer specs in your profile? I woudlnt come to you to install a video game, my "unemployed " friend.

However, IMO DVDShrink is much better than DVDXCopy anyway. If you don't particularly like it, maybe CloneDVD is for you ? There's heaps more tools listed here that can do the job.
