  1. Hi guys, this is my first post, and sadly I'm asking for help.

Basically, I've been backing-up my DVDs for a while now, using DVD Decryptor, DVDFab, and InstantCopy. However, as of recently whenever I try to burn the DVD image to the DVD-R with InstantCopy, the program is able to process 100-300mb, and then it just freezes. I've already lost about 10 DVD-Rs this way, and I don't know what's going on. Can anybody provide some help?

    Thanks.

have you done anything recently to change your PC such as an updated driver etc?

have you tried outputting to the Hard Drive instead and then burning with another software?

is it IC7 or IC8 you have?

Some will jump in and just say use DVDShrink, end of story. I like to fix a problem also, rather than just say use DVDShrink which is an easy solution to most non-related DVDShrink issues . You are of course free to use DVDShrink. Difference is I just won't ram it down your throat or make fun of you as you use Instancopy

Is it your burner? Are you able to burn data discs, for example, successfully? One suggestion ... try lowering the write speed in Instant Copy to medium or even low and see if that helps. Another suggestion ... you might consider using DVD-RWs until you solve the problem. That way you won't be wasting some many DVD-Rs.

  4. Junket,

please fill out your computer details. Also as
asked by MackemX, what version exactly of IC
do you have? There are patch updates that might
help you depending on what version of IC you have.
