    Went to the local Wal-Mart and picked up a 10 pack of Maxell 5-color 4x DVD+Rs in slimline cases, made in Japan. I'd actually seen these late last year sometime but never bothered to pick any up. These are media code MAXELL001, media I never expected to see in the US as I hear they are quite rare even in Japan. Maxell sure was late in the game producing 4x DVD+R media, but looking at the results burned at 8x on my PX-712A I won't complain!

    Can you take some pictures of the discs and packaging? I'm interested to know if they look any different from the TY Maxell color discs I have.

    You might want to add them to the media list too.

    That's encouraging. All Maxell 4x DVD+R I've seen is RICOHJPNR01 (good stuff as well).
