    hey guys....

    i never used the pan and scan feature and have always wondered what its function was.....

    also on a side note.i ust grabbed beta 8 and cant wait to play around.....thanx for a great build on a great tool CB..............pal2ntsc..ive spent milleniums converting before using 1.5...YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS 8)

    Well if you have never used the pan & scan option there is a high chance you won't need to. It is for the following issues: 'double image playback', '2/3 + 1/3 image playback', 'off center display' or 'stretched image'. It typically effects pioneer Dvd players when SVCDs are used to produce DVD-SVCDs. If you don't have these issues then don't use the Pan & Scan option as it dramatically increases processing time.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    i do have a pioneer and it never played these conversions ok.....i just stopped using it...i figured it was the svcd 480x480 AR as opposed to 720x480 dvd AR....itll be nice to be able to watch everything in every room if it works..thanx
