    Eureka!

    The ATI AIW 8500 card will capture VHS tapes with no macrovision! I just replaced my 9800 AIW Pro with the AIW 8500 (I dont play games, so I just wanted the capture card) and my macrovision problems were solved!

    Beats the hell out of spending another 400 bucks for a TBC in my opinion.

    Thanks to those that answered many of my questions, I really appreciate it!
