  1. Hello all,

I cannot seem to find a guide or any procedure on the following:

I have a Xvid/Divx capable player and would like to burn a bunch of these avi files to DVD without changing format to MPEG2. ,ie, I would like to keep the format as avi on the dvd.

    My question is:

I have found guides to copy multiple avi files to DVD but can i create menus on the DVD for each avi file? Is there a software that will make basic menus so that i dont have to scan the whole disc to find what i am looking for.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. You can also forward a link if this has been posted before.

    Thanks

  2. No. Your divX player will display a menu to let you choose the files you've burn't onto DVD.

If you want menu's you'll have to convert them to DVD spec.

    Spot on

Menus for DivX/XviD just aren't possible yet. If you don't want to convert to DVD (MPEG-2), then you're SOL ATM I'm afraid
    If in doubt, Google it.
