Hopefully posting this question in the right forum. When i capture with windv i set the threshold to 1 so when i can have multiple files per break in the action. When I convert and burn to dvd I would like to set each files as a chapter and no have a break on the dvd when changing chapters. Is this possible.

    Thanx all.

    Hi dynamix1,

Yes, it's possible. When capturing with WinDV you'll get a whole load of files for each separate shot on the cam. This you know.

It sounds like you'll be encoding all these files seperately - fair enough. Not what I'd do, but still valid. From this, you'll have a load of MPEGs.

In your DVD authoring software (I use TMPGEnc DVD Author), just load the MPEGs all into the same track, in the order you want them to appear, and go through and set your chapters for that track.

    Author and burn.

    Sit and enjoy...
