  1. Hi All

I have an Mpeg file that when played jitters in a few places.

Becuase of this when I demux the Mpeg I get lots of Sound and Movie files instead of just the two.

Any ideas as to how I can fix the Mpeg, so that I only get the two files when I
    Demux?

Sounds like, from what you are syaing, is that
the MPEG itself is made up from several smaller files
    muxed to form one MPEG?

If this is the case, edit the smaller files into one large file
using Quicktime Pro 6. Then save as HQ movie file,
and then mux with ffmpegx ( for MPEG-1 or -2),
or Toast legacy ( if creating an mpeg-1).

  4. I suggest you try Mpeg Streamclip. Open your file, use the Fix Timecode command and then Convert to Mpeg...
Mpeg Streamclip will then write a new mpeg file which should be error free. It is also an easy way to join mpeg files.
