well i have a lot of .AVIs that equals 3.95 gigs. after converging them into mpeg2 will so many of them sacrifice the quality?

yes...and no...
You can try the kvcd templates for kdvd, and get about 12 hours on one dvdr, or 24 hours on one DL.
The other option is to just burn the avi's (providing they're all DivX), and find a player that plays DivX.Cheers, Jim
