  1. I have a movie that is 1 hour and 58 min and I need to put it on one dvd that is a 4.7GB. How do i make it fit? Can anyone tell me how to do it?

    Not having any knowledge of your source files, I'll say re-encode it with the appropriate audio and video bitrates.

    What type of file is your source and what specs does it have ?

    What software do you have at your disposal ?

    We need a hell of a lot more details than that my friend.

    What format is the audio and video in etc?

    I suggest you read some guides.

    The forum is for more specific questions not "open ended" how-do-I-do-this-from-scratch questions.

    Even if someone wanted to spend the time to hold your hand they could not with the information you provided.

  6. i think this is what you need to know. i have an avi format that i convert to dvd with winavi. all i have right now is winavi and nero 6.

    am not familiary with winavi but if it lets you use a lower bitrate, then that's what you will need to do. Another solution is to reencode with dvdshrink.
