Hello,
Well New Year's Eve is almost here. What are your plans/resolutions???
I'll be most likely staying home as usual - not worth fighting crowds.
And for me a few years ago I made a resolution to NOT MAKE ANY MORE RESOLUTIONS!!!![]()

I mean nobody keeps them anyway...

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I don't do that anymore. It's a sentimental gesture, but few follow through ...including me
I make resolutions any time of the year, but I call them "adjustments" instead. The most important ones so far were not to overpressure Dolly's inflation, and watch those duct tape loose ends
My resolutions here on Videohelp, if you can call them that, are to watch for returning banned members more closely. The recent incident with defense's aliases taught me that nobody stays away from this place for long. They all come back sooner or later
I have also vowed not to tease Yoda about Star Wars as much. It doesn't help ...the little bugger still posts whatever he likesJ/K Yoda
And ...I need to bug Indo with e-mails more often about his returning to our little OT fold. He's taking this "career" and life improvement thing too seriously -
1. Save up money for road trip 2006
2. Get in better shape
3. Get a new job
4. Learn Wing-Chu
I see two of those happening. As for what I'm doing for NY's, I don't have a clue. -

I will be watching the fireworks in Baltimore's Inner Harbor (from my bedroom window, but still I can see them just fine).

New years eve is LAN party time, right through till 2005.
New years day is watching LOTR:FOTR:EE LOTR:TTT:EE LOTR:ROTK:EE back to back. although possibly not, i'm getting a surround amp for my birthday middle of next month so it should perhaps wait till then... -

I don't think even I could handle that without a short break. Heck just enduring Helms Deep without a break straight to KING would be emotionally exhausting right there!

well there will be breaks for drinkies and pizza, quite conveniently placed on the disc breaks.

Yeah, last major LAN i went to was at newbury horse racing course. this one will just be at home. i think we're going for rounds on battlefield, the winning team has to drink a shot at the end of the round - should make things interesting! -

Use my Bowflex for more then hanging cloths that need to be ironed.
Have a coworker that is going to bet against me and hopefully we can keep each other motivated since we both love to eat, then eat some more, then eat a little more.
We'll see.

My New Year's resolutions
I don't make them either. Hell I could be dead tomorrow, I live life one day at a time.
If I could pick one thing to improve on though it would be: To be more tactful but more point blank or blunt. Sometimes I can seem a bit...harsh? or mean? maybe?
I also plan on drinking more and using more tabacco products, eating high fat and high cholesterol foods. I do exercise, that's just part of me now...I don't run anywhere, but I lift and workout.
<everybody has to die of something, and marriage is taking Waaaaaaay too long>
I also plan on buying a CBR 900 RR, yea, I know....read the "<...>" above.
As for New Years...we typically I don't party much, just a small gathering of close friends, but this year I think me and Jack will be hangin out...we've been hangin out quite a bit lately...like now for instance...
My only other resolution is to keep picking on Yoda about Star Wars, Star Trek and being Gay. That's the only way he's ever known me and if I change that now he'll think something is wrong with me :P -

Just more examples of someone not being able to hear what is being said because of "HOW" it is being said
Ah **** em' if they can't take a joke, eh gitreel
<dammit, that wasn't very tactful on my part...oh well, I'll work on it after the first of the year

New Year's resolutions/plans?
Nope none whatsoever except lock myself up at home alone, curl up in the couch and listen to Kenny G's 'Auld Lang Syne 2000 Mill Mix' on my PC at the midnight hour with no television and nothing else on. Making plans are a waste of time because I may not even live long enough to even see it through.
Personally I will be glad when these holidays will be over with and done with, that way I dont have to be bothered with them for another year. As far as im concerned NYD is just another day for me and thats it.
Watching couples kiss at the stroke of midnight and big groups of friends get together to celebrate the events on TV for New Years makes me sick and a waste of time since I dont have a gf and I have no friends, so why waste time watching television. I spent New Years alone before and will do it again.
VTMI have the staff of power, now it's up to me to use it to its full potential to command my life and be successful. -
Lighting fireworks off and drinking capt'n and coke. What a great combo, explosives and alcohol.
See if we can get the cops here again. I can hit about 10 houses from my front porch with a bottle rocket.
No bottle rockets though, at least the little ones.
Last year we got "nabbed" by the cop right after lighting off a 2000 round mat in a garbage can. Ever hear a 2000 firecrakers in a garbage can? The cop comes around "you guys lighting off fireworks?".... Not us officer with the smell of gunpowder everywhere and a garbage can with smoke pouring out of it.
