Staples in Canada have spindles of 10 DVD-R on sale for $6.99. They are carrying the name MSONIC. However DVDInfo reports a media code of
MCC 01RG20 . The print on the spindel says made in Taiwan.

Anyone know anything about this brand ?

Would'nt MCC be labeled as made in Japan ?

MCC01RG20 is MCC media, legit media, made in Taiwan. It is good stuff.

I just burnt a hundred of those mcc media.
nec 2500a. Flawless from beginning to end.
Branded Kodak.
Last batch of kodak's were prodisk f01,s.
Had no problems with them either.
Sooner or later I will buy a spindle of kodak and
end up with 100 princo,s or something worse.
What a crap shoot, this media nonsense.

Just picked up a spindle of 50 -R of Msonic for $29.00 (Canadian) at Staples Bayers Lake Halifax, Nova Scotia. DVDInfo reports the same media code MCC 01RG20.
