I down loaded the TMpnec 2.01 file and extracted this file. Then I downloaded the vfp file. I extracted this file into the first file 2.01. Tried to click the install file and I get a flash of black screen. What am I doing wrong. I have Windows XP. Is this my problem?

I'm not sure if XP is the problem, but I am using version 2.01 under Win2k Pro and it runs fine. I dont recall running any installation though, just extracted the files to a directory and fired up the TMPEG exe.

You didn't do anything wrong, that window is suppose to flash and disapper, it just registers the VFP and DLL files to make TMPGEnc support external files.
