I have the Dazzle 150 USB device to capture video from VHS:
1. Any thoughts on the device?
2. What programs can I use to capture video and audio with the best quality or do I have to use the Studio 9 that came with the unit? I installed the Studio 9 that came with the unit, but the software seems to run slow
3. Can I use Adobe Premiere to capture? How do I set it up to see the device?
I have tried to capture a few videos with the Studio 9 Software, but it appears to be a bit jumpy in spots, any ideas?
THanks

Do a seach with "Dazzle 150" as the keywords. You will find several threads addressing this topic. It seems many people use the old "dvxcel" test utility for capturing but it was included only in the "pre-pinnacle" version. I don't have any experience with the Pinnacle product. Maybe you just need to increase your bitrate, if it allows you. Concerning capturing in Premiere, the only way to do it is if you get the Mainconcept "mpeg pro" add-on. It also add other features such as native mpeg editing, but its expensive ($250).
