Also, says the dvds are from singapor, is that a good or bad thing?

I bought some cheap media from them a year or so ago. No problems.

I would be wary of anything not made in Japan, with the state of media being what it is.

By the font and the product descriptions, it looks like it IS Meritline.

yea it is......Found these dvds @ both Supermediastore, and Meritline. Meritline is $2 cheaper....I haven't used them before how are they. I've only used Supermedia, and the last 3 batches of Prodisc hub print have all been shit, only 17 good burns, bewteen 2-50pks, and 1-25pk.....

So where should I go Mert or Super?

Safe to say, don't buy Prodisc right now.

Soon as all the etailers notice the sharp drop off in sales of it, they'll start searching for answers. Prodisc will either fix the problem, or die.

BTW, I'm a hard core Prodisc supporter......well used to be before all my coasters on the S04's (white inkjet to hub)

  7. Buy.com has those Verbatim DLP 94812 8x +R printables for a couple bucks less than the site mentioned in the initial post. Also free shipping.

PRODISC as a media is just fine ...
... it seems the PRODISCF01 8x inkjet media is not.

    Inkjet woes.

How can you say that when you even started a thread about Prodisc problems? For inkjets some places don't sell S03's anymore, some says they're selling S03's but shipping anything but, some don't even list what they're shipping as they don't even know. You can only hope you can find S03's, becuase that was the last of the for sure good ones, anything else from them is hit or miss. How is that not a problem?

  10. You could also try www.svp.co.uk , I have used them and they seem pretty reasonable. Got a spindle of 50 printable disks to try them out and not one bad burn. The printing was AOK also.

So what's the difference between Prodisc S03's and S04's? I see S03's reviewed over in the DVD Media section of this site, but nothing on the S04's.

EDIT: Never mind, I found a thread.

  12. S04's were their first 8x version, but it was not compatible with Pioneer for 8x. They kept selling the stuff as 4x instead, even though some burners will burn it at 8x.
