Hi,
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a high quality PC to TV scan converter box suitable for adjusting capture color/brightness etc. levels while viewing the results on the attached TV?
Or would I be wasting my time because the color seen on the TV coming out of the PC would not be representative of the color balance of the same movies seen on the TV when it is connected to hardware devices such as DVDs and VCRs?
Thanks,
trock

In case anyone's interested, I found a great way to do this and get an accurate image on the TV screen. Using Vegas 5's output to TV option across firewire to a DV to analog box works great for previewing filter changes in realtime on the external TV (no need to render anything). Works great, even with the VDub filters that have been ported to Vegas.
