    Can anyone help in the search for a DVD player which will play MP3 audio files, with shuffle/random play? Why are players with this seemingly simple feature so hard to buy? I've trawled through the posts and player descriptions on the site, but any players mentioned seem to be unavailable in the UK, or unnecessarily expensive - all I want to do is the above, I'm not interested in video for this application, and at the moment it seems cheaper to buy a PC and stick iTunes on it! Which would be (a) overkill, (b) less reliable and (c) not as simple to use. All suggestions gratefully appreciated, and happy Christmas to everyone in the forum.

    D'oh! That's MP3s on a DVD. It just seems such a wonderful opportunity, if the hardware is available, to stick 100 conventional CDs on one DVD as MP3s and have a player dip into their contents at random...
