  1. I recently purchased a cake box of 50 Ritek 4x DVD-R. The first 30 burned OK, but I ran into verification errors after that. Looking at the discs I found label side scratches on 10 discs. I called the vendor and was told someone would call me back with an authorization number. When I didn't hear back by the close of business I called again. I spoke with someone who did not utilize english as a first language and after some discussion he said they would send me a replacement for the 10 discs.

I received the discs which are definitely different than the first 50 although they are supposed to be the same. These are clearly marked "Ridata" on the spindle hole and have burned without problems.

My concern is that this is what I thought I was buying in the first place. Can anyoneoffer suggestions of reputable vendors to buy from. It doesn't necesssarily have to be the cheapest, after all, if the media is defective it's not really a value anyway.

    Thanks in advance.
