    Hi framig,

Check out the guides for something along the lines of "Making switchable subtitles".

There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

you can use dvd-lab pro, ulead dvd workshop. they have built in subtitle editors.
    or
use dvdauthorgui or gui for dvd author together with subtitle workshop(freee tools).

And you must make the subs manually.

    Hi.

My problem is I can't make subtitles when the source is
not from a dvd rip (which has subtitles to extract)

The subtitles I want to create are from my video sources
    time, for instance. ( ie,TIME - 01:15 ) is what I'd
like to put somewhere's down in my video window's bottom
line or (in the case of widescreen ie, my home footage)
in the black area. i haven't ben able to figure this out
    just yet
