  1. I've made my first menu in DVD-lab, but when I link the chapters in the scene selection menu to the chapters in the moviewindow I get many numbers at the side of the different chapters in the scene selection menu:

    Like this:

    1 Chapter 1
    2 Chapter 2
    5 Chapter 3
    7 Chapter 4
    4 Chapter 5

as you can see the numbers on the right side of the chapters aren't in the right configuration. These numbers automatically line up like that... Do this have any further meaning to the final product?

Have you tried previewing the menu by pressing the blue play arrow on the toolbar? That will show you what the final product will look like.

  4. It worked fine, but I doscovered one one more thing... When I play the movie in DVD-lab there's no sound, I've added the sound in the audio-line but when I play it there's no sound. Should it be like this?

These numbers refer to the order the scene buttons will be selected when you use your DVD remote arrows. You can change them to how you would like them to be by selecting them and clicking on the "Send Backward" (or "Bring Forward") icon on the menu. Keep doing this for each scene button until you have the order you want.

    Hope this makes sense!

Yes, there is no audio preview in DVD-Lab. You should really read the FAQ and Help files on the Mediachance site, they will explain the basics.

    Somebody ....

    .... please ....

I would assume you know how to load the IFO properly in PowerDVD, so I'll suggest WinDVD as an alternative player, and also IFOEdit has an inbuilt player as well.
    If in doubt, Google it.
