It sounds like your audio is playing back and the wrong rate. You could use a program like Goldwave to change the playback rate. Also, Goldwave is good for cleaning up noisy audio and taking out hisses. Goldwave comes with a trial so you can try it for free. I own this program and I find it invaluable.

What is the WAV file playing in ? Windows Media Player ? Try loading the WAV file into the software DVD player and see if it plays it fine.
If in doubt, Google it.

With DVD2AVI you want to go to AUDIO and under that you want to select OUTPUT METHOD and then select the option called DEMUX ALL TRACKS
Chances are the DVD has AC-3, DTS and or MP2 (aka MPA) audio.
This will simply demux the audio.
You can THEN process the audio to PCM WAV if need be using another tool such as BeSweet.
You don't want to use DVD2AVI to DEMUX TO WAV or DECODE.
Very bad.

i tried it but it did'nt work, do you know of any other programs that extract hte audio from the vob's??? without using the ifo's. the thing is that i downloaded the vob's from teh internet and don't have the ifo's or bup files. its from the michael jackson bucharest concert from the ultimate collection. just in case you all have the dvd, and you can send me those ifo files, which i doubt.
