Without going into details, I don't like when large companies take
over various smaller companies on the internet.....or elsewhere.
Deja was great for searching for information. Then Google took
over and it was still great.
Now, however, Google has changed the entire look of their
newsgroups......for the worse....(my opinion).
If you used Deja, and also the old Google Groups, do you
like the new Google Groups?
I think it is sloppy and harder to find what you are searching for.
(I'm not talking about the main Google search engine)
Even though I'm in the USA I use the UK entrance to Google Groups.
They are still using the old format.

Plus, no binaries.
Netscape & IE both have newsgroup viewing functions though. -

Usenet is dead these days, at least in my experience. Unfortunate.

way to much spam on unmoderated groups .... even some old good groups are just spam now ....
yahoo groups have some really good groups still .. but forums seem to have taken over most everything ... except some binary groups"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
"did it ever have binaries ?"
When it was Dejanews, I think so.....
I get 30,800 groups with Supernews. There are many more of them.
