NO REBATES !!!!! Just $3.99 each. Free shipping. Tax where needed.

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1055389307922&skuId=5689935&type=product

At worst case, it could be RITEKG03. But I doubt they still have 1x media leftover (which was 2x on most drives!) from 1-2 years ago, and is really 4x or 8x media. Midway you could get FUJIFILM or PRODISC. Still, 16 cents per disc! Half normal price compared to online media suppliers.

Or best hope to have: TYG01 or TYG02 !!

Whatever I get, it'll be good. Again 16 CENTS EACH!!!
    Cannot complain about that.

    200 DVD-R for $32 after tax. Excellent.

I was going to pay $9 each last night for TY Fuji, but the store here was sold out. ... but maybe that was a blessing. I know have a lot more for a lot less.

I want MXLRG03 anyway, $6 per 15 at Office Depot.

I got my order in in time, but just got an email saying that they're backordered until 12-17, worth the wait I guess. Todays ad in the paper lists them for $8.99 + or - .

I have low expectations from Best Buy anyway. I got the backorder notice too. But I don't need them for a while anyway.

  11. Lordsmurf: I Just looked at your link and it now (anyway) showing $8.99 and sold out. Sound like a there was a mistake in the web page when you ordered. I Hope those who ordered them at $3.00 get em at that price. They may try to weasel out.

    Good Luck

I ordered about 5:15 AM and so far they say my order is in processing.

BB website is saying $8.99 for the Fuji again.

I don't like ordering Fuji from BB because they never state what speed they are.
    Some are said 1x and 2.4x & 4x but I don't see any as 8x.

best buy has advertised that now for 2 weeks in a row. the 3 local best buy's never had them. i did however get lucky as in the same ad last week they had TDK DVD+R 8X 50 paks for $19.99. thanks to the help of this site i was able to determine which were CMC CRAP. i ended up with four spindles of Taiyo Yuden 8X!!!!!!!! funny thing, all of the TDK 50 paks were well hidden as if they did not want ot sell them. typical best buy bull shit.

They have them mistagged at the BB in Glendale, CA, too. They're on a little table near the place where you stand in line to pay. I just got 50 +R and 50 -R for less than 18 bucks. Get'em while they're hot!!!

  15. i just bought a spindle of the fuji +R (unfortunately, tagged correctly for $8.99, not $3.99), they are taiyo 02... be careful, though, the -R's were made in taiwan (at least here they were), not sure if that will make a difference.

  16. I just picked up my 25 pack last night at BB for $8.99. However, the media code is ProdiscF01 and they are made in Taiwan and they are 8X. UPC is 0-7410175125-3. I burned one in my JVC DR-M10S without a problem.

How exactly is $3.99 for a bunch of 1X discs a good deal? i really don't have an hour a disc to wait. Did I miss something about these?
The real answer lies in completely understanding the question!

If you walk into the store and see what media they have, I doubt you will find much 1x. The UPC codes for the 1x, 4x and 8x DVD-R spindles are the same.

I actually managed to get a spindle of T02s at the $3.99 price at my local BB as they still had that price on the shelves. It rang up as $8.99 but I happily pointed out the price on the shelf and they had to sell it to me for the lower price. I'm wondering why I didn't get 4 spindles....

they are just playah hatahz .. they can NOT compete with online sales so they stoop to scam levels and pull a stunt like this, I never even looked at the link, I knew BB was scammin' and gamin'. Go head.. go to BB as a last resot, pay more, way more, get less, WAY less and below standard items. You are the one who will loose ... every.. stinkin... time!! Not mashin' on ya smurf, but folks need to know they are a crook.. and if ya ask my opinion.. they are on crack. Just MY opinion!!!

  28. Unfortunately I fear this is becoming the standard for online stores. They simply will not honor their own mistakes. I had an order with amazon for flatware on clearance, and just like above, they cancelled my order just after upping the price.

As far as I'm concerned, once the order is confirmed, it's just as if you walked out of the store with the merchandise. They shouldn't be allowed to change their minds after the sale is complete.

I actually like Best Buy, but I'm all for spreading all sorts of bad press on this. Companies need to learn there's a cost to retroactively renigging on a sale. Hopefully someday we'll have a law making illegal to cancel an order once it's confirmed. That'd be a law that's actually worth something.

    lordsmurf,

    That does suck.

My brother went to BB shopping for a TV. He picked one out and asked the sales person "does this TV have audio out jacks to pip the TV output back to a Stereo/Receiver?" the response was "yes it does" so he bought the TV only to get it home and see, NO IT DOES NOT... Back he went to the store.

And after my latest experience (see my posts HERE,and I'm still waiting to be notified of my rain check from Nov 21 being in!! ), I'm feeling more and more thankful that I have Circuit City, Compusa, Tweeter, Target, OfficeMax, Office Depot, Staples, Walmart, Sears, and MANY MORE within 10 miles of my home, All of which I have NEVER had these problems. And even better, No Sales Tax here in Delaware

While I still look through the BB ads, its usually for prices, so if its needed I can use that to price match at their competitiors.

Good customer service DOES MATTER TO ME when I go shopping. The above are only 3 examples of very poor customer service, or better yet, what should be called customer DIS-Service. So, By Bye Best Buy.
