  1. Hi, I just purchased Bourne Supremacy on DVD and am trying to back it up using DVD Shrink but get an error while doing so.

When I try using dvd decrypter it works but the movie is too large for a single DVD.

    Any help is appreciated. thanks![/img]

Someone else had this issue and the fix was to make the Unreferenced Material uncompressed or still image. It might just be a certain region release of the DVD I think.

    If in doubt, Google it.

Try to run it through DVDDecrypter first, then use that output as the DVDShrink input and shrink it. Works for me.
    My gear:

    - JVC HR-S9911U SVHS VCR
    - Datavideo TBC-1000
    - JVC DR-M10 DVD writer
    - Sony Steadyshot DCR-TRV340 NTSC Digital8 Camcorder

Well, I reread what he said he did, and it sounds to me like he tried A) DVDShrink but it did not work due to an error, then B) tried DVDDecrypter and it *did* work but the resulting output was too large for a DVD5.

I was suggesting C) combine the two methods and hopefully avoid the DVDShrink error problem. That method has worked for me numerous times when a backup would not work for some reason with just DVDShrink.
