When i'm done converting the initial windv file(which is huge), I delete it, but my hard drive doesn't show that i did. I've had this problem for a while. Eventually after a while(sometimes days) it shows that it's gone. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this?

I'm using XP and I checked recylce bin. The file is usually very big so it asks to permanetly delete and skips the recycle bin.
