JVC XV-THS51 DVD PLAYER HACK NEEDED

I recently bought a JVC TH-S51 Home Cinema System. The DVD model is XV-THS51. I was told by the salesman at Curries that I should be able to find a hack on the internet.

I have searched the web for weeks trying to find a mention on whether my DVD player can be hacked to play region 1 discs... with no luck.

Does anybody know whether a hack exists and if so can you tell me what it is.

Help me Obi-Wan. You're my only hope!

Sorry, this websites hack list doesn't show any hack for your player.

Do you have a dvd burner?? If so you could rip it to be region free.

Though, you'll still have to worry about pal/ntsc depending on where you live.

The big name brands are more difficult to find hacks for.....I never found one for my old JVC....and it's over two years old.
Salespeople lie alot.
